Estimated value of clubrooms was $75,000 but a loan of $20,000 was only necessary due to many hours of voluntary labour and supply of materials from many businesses and people from the entire Wynyard community.
The third and only other premiership for the Wynyard Cricket Club was under the guidance of Shane Walker in 1990-91. The Club has been an excellent breeding ground for outstanding sportsmen, notable representatives at State Level have been Jamie Cox, Dene Hills, Shaun Young, Phillip Blizzard, John Coughian, Peter Mancell and Les Allen.
Over the last 50 years over 20 players have represented the State at under age level.
In the 50 years 274 players have represented the club in First Grade and out of these only 45 players have scored in excess of 750 runs with only 25 players having taken more than 50 wickets, there is also only 14 players who have over 50 dismissals.
